Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Theodore Nouveau (ranked 3523 p4p, 193 weight class) and Uriah Chin (ranked 3918 p4p, 208 weight class). Uriah Chin struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Uriah Chin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Chris Dean and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chin misses with a low kick.
Nouveau walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Chin tries to keep at a distance but Nouveau has taken the fight into the clinch.
Chin connects with a knee to the head.
Chin is pressed up against the cage. Nouveau has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chin down to the mat. Chin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Nouveau has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nouveau there as he acknowledges the shot.
Chin tries to bum rush Nouveau with a series of wild strikes but Nouveau uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Chin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Chin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nouveau but Nouveau pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Uriah Chin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Nouveau blocks it with crossed arms.

We've been hearing reports that Nouveau has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Nouveau jumps guard but Chin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Chin drops Nouveau with a big knee straight up the middle! Nouveau is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Nouveau is pressed against the cage. Chin pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Nouveau! Two more big strikes from Chin and Nouveau crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Uriah Chin!
Uriah Chin spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
