Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chief Navajo (ranked 1416 p4p, 146 weight class) and Thing Thing (ranked 2340 p4p, 207 weight class). Thing has chosen Thing as his entrance music. Chief Navajo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Ben Hemmingworth and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thing tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Navajo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Navajo half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Navajo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Thing counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Navajo looking for subs off his back but Thing has passed one foot through into half guard.
Navajo actively working from the bottom here.
Thing slips a nice elbow through Navajo's hands, connecting with Navajo's forehead.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thing is looking for a kimura but Navajo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Thing to get the leverage.
Navajo blocking the ground and pound attempt from Thing.
Still in half guard, Thing seems content to control.

Thing is keen to just control but Navajo is a slippery customer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thing lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Thing is pressing down on Navajo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Navajo is holding on for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Thing lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Navajo! More strikes land and this one is all over! Thing jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thing Thing!
After winning the bout, Thing Thing thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
