Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roope Karppinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amigo Cerveza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cerveza has chosen Juno - Postapocalyptica as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karppinen fails with a takedown attempt.
Karppinen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Cerveza thows a left - swing and a miss!
Karppinen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roope Karppinen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cerveza misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cerveza slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Cerveza misses with a body shot.
Karppinen fails with the takedown.
Cerveza looks to throw the jab but Karppinen is out of range.

Cerveza shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cerveza was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Karppinen is desperately trying to improve his position but Cerveza has a good base and remains in mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cerveza cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Cerveza lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Karppinen is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cerveza lands a big elbow - Karppinen is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Karppinen is forced to tap out!
