Balboa scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Balboa tries to advance to mount but can't.
Balboa in side control lands a decent elbow.
Ignacio can't do much from the bottom here.
Balboa throwing strikes but Ignacio manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Balboa is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Ignacio is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Ignacio cracks Balboa with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Ignacio wants to control the pace but Balboa is squirming around nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
