Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Buvaisar Saitiev (ranked 2386 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sargeant Cobra (ranked 3897 p4p, 0 weight class). Cobra has chosen Cobra as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sargeant Cobra is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saitiev fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cobra shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Saitiev eats them both and turns towards Cobra to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Cobra lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Cobra.
Cobra moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Saitiev wants to clinch.
Saitiev shoots in for a takedown but Cobra shows good takedown defense.

Cobra had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Saitiev defends it easily.

Saitiev has gone for a leg lock! Cobra slips out almost immediately though and dives into Saitiev's guard.

Cobra stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Saitiev shoots in for a takedown but Cobra shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Cobra turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cobra manages to end up in side control.
Saitiev gets back to half guard.

Cobra moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Saitiev.
Saitiev tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Cobra presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Cobra is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Saitiev is in real trouble.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Cobra's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Cobra working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Saitiev is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Cobra has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Saitiev taps out!
