PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kaiser Soze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krunch Bot Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krunch Bot Jones told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kaiser Soze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Krunch Bot Jones!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Soze, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Soze swivels and escapes.
Kaiser Soze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Soze throws a body kick that misses.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Soze, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Soze against the cage but Soze circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Soze is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Soze circles away and we're back to standing.
Kaiser Soze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krunch Bot Jones.
Jones shoots in and drives through. Soze sprawls well.
Jones fails to land the takedown.
Soze throws a front kick that sends Jones stumbling back into the cage.
Soze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Soze scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A slapping body kick lands there for Soze.
Jones looks gassed!
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Soze pinned against the cage. Soze gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt.
Soze throws a quick inside leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crunch! Soze slams his shin into Jones's torso.
Soze lands with a nice combination. Jones backs away looking to recover.
Soze goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Soze throws a nice head kick!
Jones takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Soze moves into range and clinches up with Jones.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones takes a knee right on the jaw!
A knee to the head by Soze.

Jones is rocked!
Soze connects with a knee right up the middle there - that's rocked Jones badly! Jones tumbles to the floor and Soze stands over him, dominant and satisfied with his glorious KO victory!
