Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Odis Wheetley (ranked 3344 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Tremblay (ranked 22240 p4p, 0 weight class). Wheetley has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Odis Wheetley looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tremblay scores with a kick to the midsection.
Wheetley is breathing heavily.

Tremblay takes the fight into the clinch.
Tremblay tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wheetley just stands there and leans against the cage.

Wheetley pulls Tremblay into guard.
Tremblay wants to stand but Wheetley is controlling his posture from full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tremblay is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Wheetley has Tremblay pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tremblay manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Tremblay gets control of Wheetley's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tremblay will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Tremblay has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wheetley is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Trevor Tremblay.
Well Tremblay has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
