Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adrik Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aye Jaarb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaarb lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Jaarb looks for the body kick but Ivanov saw that one coming.
Jaarb misses with the combination.
Aye Jaarb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ivanov shoots in for a takedown but Jaarb shows good takedown defense.

Jaarb gets caught flat footed, as Ivanov shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ivanov gets to his feet. Jaarb looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Ivanov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Ivanov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Ivanov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jaarb, who protects the arm well.

Jaarb pushes Ivanov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ivanov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Ivanov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jaarb is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ivanov stands up and beckons Jaarb to his feet.

Ivanov avoids a kick to the body.

Ivanov shoots in and bounces Jaarb off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ivanov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jaarb swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jaarb is looking to stand up but Ivanov isn't so interested in that idea.
Ivanov controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Jaarb keeping moving, preventing Ivanov from controlling successfully.
Jaarb is looking to stand back up but Ivanov counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Jaarb.

Ivanov is looking for a kimura but Jaarb is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ivanov to get the leverage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jaarb is defending against the submission attempts here by Ivanov.
Jaarb tries to kick Ivanov off but Ivanov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

No joy there for Jaarb, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ivanov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ivanov is looking to take a break and control but Jaarb is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ivanov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Jaarb bucks up and tries to throw Ivanov off but instead Ivanov has got his back!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ivanov is working for a rear naked choke. Jaarb is not defending it well and Ivanov has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Jaarb refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Jaarb's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
