Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dolla Ballo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sterk Kreig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sterk Kreig will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ballo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ballo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kreig looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Ballo moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kreig has worked his arm free - good work by Kreig!
Kreig really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ballo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kreig is letting Ballo control him for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kreig is not content to let Ballo control the position.

Ballo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Ballo decides to stand back up. Ballo steps back and let's Kreig get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ballo blocks a head kick by Kreig.

Ballo moves into the clinch.
Kreig gets underhooks to prevent Ballo's takedown attempt.

Kreig is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Kreig wants to get back to striking at distance but Ballo won't allow it.

Stalling in the clinch from Kreig.
Ballo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kreig gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Ballo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Ballo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kreig can't keep his opponent in guard - Ballo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Ballo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kreig is just riding it out for now. Ballo eventually gives up the hold.
Ballo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Kreig is not content to let Ballo control the position.

Ballo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Ballo in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kreig tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Ballo!
