Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobb shoots in and drives through. Hexum sprawls well.
Cobb fails with a takedown attempt.

Hexum closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hexum lands in his opponent's guard.

Cobb moves in looking to clinch but Hexum pushes him off.
Cobb tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hexum manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Hexum darts in looking for a takedown but Cobb gets double underhooks and turns Hexum into the cage.

With the fighters up against the cage, Hexum throws an elbow but misses.
Hexum digs a right hand underneath Cobb's ribcage. Cobb let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Cobb connects with a knee to the head.
Hexum is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Hexum has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Cobb uses from the top position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been informed that Hexum has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
