Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chadwick Sloan (ranked 4855 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romeu Marques (ranked 4864 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marques looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A quick step to the side and Sloan tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sloppy strikes from Marques. Those never looked like landing.
Marques will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sloan really is a fat lump.
Marques slaps away a takedown attempt from Sloan, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Marques fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sloan sprawls well initially but Marques persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Marques is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sloan is just riding it out for now. Marques eventually gives up the hold.

Sloan is looking for a sweep. Marques is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Marques is keen to just control but Sloan is a slippery customer.
Sloan flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Marques gets to mount! Sloan was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Romeu Marques comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Marques has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
