Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charles Farias!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 108 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yahweh Falwell!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farias lands with a slapping head kick.
Falwell looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Farias gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We've been informed that Falwell has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Farias throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Falwell blocks it with crossed arms.
Farias putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Falwell in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Farias connects with a nasty looking knee right to Falwell's face.
Falwell takes a knee right on the jaw!


Falwell is rocked!
Farias using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Falwell has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Falwell is still on wobbly legs! Can Farias finish him?
Farias scores with a knee to the head.
Farias tries to land a knee to the head but Falwell blocks with his arms.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Farias jerks Falwell's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Falwell drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Farias goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Farias because Falwell was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Charles Farias!
Yahweh Falwell was interviewed post fight and said 'Hasa diga eebowai. I guess I didn't pray hard enough, or maybe prayed too much. I bet if I trained more instead praying, I might have avoided getting KO'd. I guess it's God's will. But to quote George Carlin: "If it's God's will and he's going to do what he wants to anyway, why'.
