Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jabbar Omarov (ranked 1258 p4p, 155 weight class) and Jayden Jacobs (ranked 2346 p4p, 261 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs throws out a loose jab but Omarov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jacobs swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Omarov appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Jacobs throws a body shot but no joy.
Omarov connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Omarov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Omarov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jacobs to the mat! Jacobs manages to get full guard.

Omarov is in close to Jacobs's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Jacobs can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Omarov controls the pace.

Omarov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jacobs is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Omarov, into his guard.

Omarov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Omarov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jacobs is aware though and is defending well.

Omarov looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jacobs has picked Omarov up and slammed him! Omarov can't keep hold of the triangle and Jacobs manages to pass to side control!

Omarov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jacobs gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jabbar Omarov will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
