Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maximus McDougall (ranked 3440 p4p, 368 weight class) and Pal Hasani (ranked 1418 p4p, 169 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maximus McDougall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDougall throws a right hand that misses
and Hasani counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps McDougall thinking.
McDougall misses with a straight right.
Hasani has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as McDougall is landing a low percentage of strikes.
McDougall throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hasani counters with a stiff right hand.
McDougall swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hasani counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
McDougall falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hasani counters with a slapping leg kick.

and McDougall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McDougall throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
McDougall throws a right and a left that Hasani avoids nicely.
McDougall swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Hasani counter with a right hand.
McDougall is rocked!
McDougall is breathing heavily.
McDougall is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Hasani doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! McDougall crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in McDougall's bad books for that mishap!

After the fight, Pal Hasani was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
