The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyuyu tries to clinch up.

Hyuyu wants to get back to his feet but Yang is dominant here and he's now got Hyuyu's back!
Yang is not going to allow Hyuyu to sit and survive in this position.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Yang is trying to stick to Hyuyu's back but Hyuyu is turning into Yang. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Yang's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hyuyu.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hyuyu is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Hyuyu dives in and grabs Yang's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yang pushes down on Hyuyu's head and hops out.
Yang throws a big counter combination but Hyuyu scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Hyuyu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Young Yang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Omero Hyuyu.

Young Yang overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
I really don't envy Hyuyu right now.

Hyuyu has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Yang is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hyuyu.

That was a close second round but I would say that Young Yang will probably get the nod.
