The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Donny shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kunakorn is trying to maintain the position but Donny is very close to passing his half guard.
Donny missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Donny content to control rather than advance.

Donny decides to stand and escape the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Donny wants to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Donny takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kunakorn lands with an uppercut that bounces Donny off the cage and back into range.
Donny throws a half hearted mid kick.

Donny shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Donny showed some decent athleticism there.

Donny is looking for a kimura but Kunakorn is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Donny to get the leverage.
Donny wants to pass to mount but Kunakorn is defending the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Donny throwing shots but Kunakorn is blocking nicely.

Donny not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Donny keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Donny is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kunakorn sees it coming and defends easily.
Donny has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Donny stalling.

Donny is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kunakorn defends it well.

Donny content to control rather than advance.
Donny thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kunakorn's head.
Donny passes into side control, despite Kunakorn's attempt to control the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kunakorn tries to hold on but Donny pushes him away.
Donny tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Donny stands up and beckons Kunakorn to join him on the feet.
Nice straight punches there by Kunakorn. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kunakorn.

It looks like Cowboy Donny has been cut.
Kunakorn jabs Donny to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kunakorn fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Donny is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kunakorn can do to turn this around?
Danga de danga de dang - Kunakorn scores with a four punch combination!
Kunakorn lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Kunakorn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Donny stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kunakorn ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Kunakorn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kunakorn connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Donny gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kunakorn connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Donny looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Donny looks to score with a jab to the body but Kunakorn is just out of range.
Donny fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kunakorn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kunakorn connects with a looping right hand.
Donny throws a hook but Kunakorn avoids it easily.
Kunakorn fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kunakorn sizes up Donny with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Kunakorn connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kunakorn stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

A nice combination there by Kunakorn.

Donny is rocked!
Donny moves in looking to clinch but Kunakorn pushes him off.
Oh Donny is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bayani Kunakorn seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Donny shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Donny was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Donny seems to have got his legs back now.
You can see the frustration on Kunakorn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Donny has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Donny tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kunakorn swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kunakorn throws a good cross that connects.
Kunakorn tests Donny's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Cowboy Donny's cut is getting worse.

Kunakorn connects with a crisp jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kunakorn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Donny has time to react.

Kunakorn cracks Donny with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kunakorn has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Donny to stand back up!
Bayani Kunakorn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kunakorn steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Donny is out on his feet! Kunakorn sets himself and nearly takes Donny's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
