Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gross Erock (ranked 6452 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Stevens (ranked 6851 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevens is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Woke Up This Morning. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Erock ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Erock feinted with a counter takedown.
Stevens misses with a wild body shot.
Stevens swings widly with a right hand
and Erock counters with a low kick, right behind Stevens 's knee.
Joe Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Erock ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stevens throws the left hand but Erock avoids the punch easily.
It appears Erock was looking to counter with a kick there.
Stevens throws a head kick that misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Stevens misses the target.
Stevens throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Erock.
Erock tries to counter with a takedown but Stevens is quick to defend against it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

As Stevens backs away, Erock returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Erock tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Stevens defends well and Erock ends up having to push Stevens into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Stevens rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Erock moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
As Stevens backs away, Erock returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Stevens throws a series of punches but Erock moves out of range.
Erock slips a straight right by Stevens.
Erock drops down looking for a counter takedown but Stevens sprawls and moves away.
Stevens throws a lazy uppercut
and Erock counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stevens's knee momentarily.
Stevens moves to clinch but Erock breaks away
and Erock counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Stevens!
Erock is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stevens has escaped the position, nice work there.
Stevens sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Erock is working for a kimura but Stevens is defending it quite comfortably.
Erock is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Erock can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stevens is looking to escape.
Erock with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Stevens tries to hold on but Erock pushes him away.
Stevens can't escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Erock sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Stevens is trying desperately to improve position.
Erock has control of Stevens's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Stevens regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Erock takes Stevens's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Stevens is in trouble.
Erock is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Stevens is tapping out! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Gross Erock thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
