Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bertram Guerrero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Borys Mankowski!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mankowski gets a double leg takedown into Guerrero's guard.
Guerrero tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mankowski stays in close to Guerrero's body and controls the position.
Guerrero is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Guerrero wants to sweep here but Mankowski controlling him for the moment.
Guerrero could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Mankowski fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Guerrero, pushing him back against the cage.
Guerrero jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mankowski walks away with a smile on his face. Guerrero gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Mankowski drives through with a takedown into Guerrero's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Mankowski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Mankowski takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Guerrero wants to control but Mankowski is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Let's hope that Mankowski has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Guerrero bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mankowski's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Mankowski is trying to drag Guerrero to the mat but Guerrero just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
The referee is keeping an eye on Mankowski - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Mankowski tries to score a body lock takedown but Guerrero shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Borys Mankowski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Guerrero tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mankowski paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And Mankowski tries to counter it with a takedown but Guerrero pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Guerrero wants to take the fight to the mat but Mankowski manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Mankowski is pressed up against the cage. Guerrero has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mankowski down to the mat. Mankowski avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Yet more stalling tactics from Mankowski.

Mankowski has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Borys Mankowski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mankowski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
