PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Al Queda (ranked 6736 p4p, 229 weight class) and Renaldo Dior (ranked 22346 p4p, 267 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Al Queda has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Al Queda seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Al Queda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Renaldo Dior!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Queda darts in and clinches Dior up against the ropes.
Dior takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Renaldo Dior has been cut.
Queda tries a knee to the head but Dior blocks it.
Knees in the clinch landing for Queda.
Dior is trying to break the clinch but Queda has him pressed against the ropes.
Queda misses with a knee strike.
Queda lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Dior wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Queda landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
A knee to the head by Queda.
Dior looks winded!
Queda lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Dior tries to break the clinch but Queda is controlling the position.
Queda works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Dior escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Queda gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Queda lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Queda connects with a knee to the head.
Queda scores with a shot to the side of Dior's head.
Queda pushes off an throws an elbow but Dior leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.

Queda drops Dior with a big knee! Will Dior beat the count? Yep, he's up already and we're only at 3... let's see if he's just faking it or if he's actually OK.

Dior is rocked!

Queda moves into range and clinches up with Dior.

Queda has his opponent in a tight Thai clinch and unloads with a massive knee that drops Dior to the canvas! Can Dior beat the count? 3,4,5,6 and he's up... is he? Yes, he's up! The referee is taking a long look at him and he's going to allow it to continue!

Queda gets a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Queda obliges.
Queda cracks Dior on the chin with a massive knee! He's been separated from consciousness before he even hits the floor! Absolutely fantastic knee and a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Al Queda!
A less than humble Al Queda misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
