These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Elidio Munhoz!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munhoz takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Marques moves into the clinch.
Marques breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Marques shoots for a takedown but Munhoz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Munhoz avoids the body shot from Marques.
Munhoz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Marques counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Marques.
Munhoz trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Marques has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Munhoz to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Marques is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Munhoz pulls down on the head and he's put Marques to sleep! This one is all over!
