The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steven throws a right hand that Killings ducks under and follows up with a left that Killings also avoids with ease.
Killings tries to clinch but Steven is having none of it.

Killings throws a shot from downtown. Steven moves away and avoids it.

Steven throws a nice looking combination but Killings bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Steven shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Killings but Killings pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Steven cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Killings loads up on a big right hand but Steven slips the punch.

Killings is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Steven.
Killings throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Killings gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Steven counters with a two punch combo.
Even Steven has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Killings.
Killings throws a left and a right that both miss
and Steven counters with a nice uppercut.

Killings tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Steven counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Killings!
Steven has control of Killings's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Killings regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Killings is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Killings really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Steven. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Steven is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Killings is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Killings flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Steven anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Killings and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Steven slips an arm under Killings chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Steven has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Steven is squeezing on Killings like an anaconda would it's prey. Killings fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
