Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chief Slayer (ranked 4845 p4p, 449 weight class) and Rueben Draco (ranked 2884 p4p, 308 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rueben Draco!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draco displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Slayer.
Chief Slayer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slayer closes the distance and clinches up with Draco, looking for a takedown. Slayer pushes Draco against the ropes but Draco circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Slayer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Draco sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Slayer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Draco sprawls well. Draco wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Slayer gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chief Slayer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slayer has closed the distance and engaged Draco in a clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Slayer is working for takedown but Draco is calmly controlling the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Draco wants to break the clinch but can't.
Draco tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Slayer is trying to drag Draco to the mat but Draco just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Slayer is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Draco is defending well.
Draco's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Slayer gets a double leg takedown into Draco's guard.

Slayer looking to sit in guard and control but Draco gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Draco works over Slayer with some ground and pound from guard.
Slayer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Draco is aware though and is defending well.
Draco pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Slayer is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Slayer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Draco defends well.
Slayer is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Slayer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Draco's guard.
Draco is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Slayer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Draco has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Slayer has managed to get both his arms back between Draco's legs - danger averted.
Slayer pushes down on Draco's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Slayer is working for a kimura but Draco is defending it quite comfortably.
Draco is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Draco keeps trying to improve his position.
Slayer is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Slayer seems to be working for a kimura but Draco defends the submission attempt.
Slayer seems to be looking for submissions.
Slayer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Draco does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Draco is trying to control but can't.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Slayer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Slayer trying to work for an americana but Draco has managed to regain full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chief Slayer will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!
Slayer dives in and scores a takedown into Draco's guard.
Slayer trying to control the position from guard on top but Draco is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Draco keeping full guard, as Slayer tries to pass.
Slayer looking to improve position, pressing down on Draco's thigh with his hand. Draco seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Slayer paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Slayer's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Draco picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!

After winning the bout, Rueben Draco thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
