Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Brown (ranked 3677 p4p, 423 weight class) and Huwan Bagwis (ranked 6823 p4p, 562 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Seventh nation army . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Lee Brown has been cut.
Brown shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bagwis pinned against the cage. Bagwis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bagwis swings away with a body shot that misses

and Brown decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bagwis's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bagwis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bagwis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bagwis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brown has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bagwis has managed to get both his arms back between Brown's legs - danger averted.

A chopping leg kick lands by Bagwis.
Bagwis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Brown. That did some damage!

Brown looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bagwis turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Brown was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Brown changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bagwis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brown throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bagwis tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Brown is in Bagwis's guard.
