PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yoel Eleazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cathal Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly has chosen Flogging Molly - Devil's Dance Floor as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kelly shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kelly showed some decent athleticism there.
Eleazar wants to control but Kelly is keeping busy.

and Kelly counters with a single leg into guard. Eleazar didn't expect that.

Eleazar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kelly doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kelly manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Eleazar throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kelly escapes and throws Eleazar's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Kelly gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Eleazar regains guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kelly avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Eleazar looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Kelly has picked Eleazar up and slammed him! Eleazar can't keep hold of the triangle and Kelly manages to pass to side control!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

A nice combination there by Kelly.
Eleazar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kelly pinned against the cage. Kelly gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Eleazar shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Eleazar. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Eleazar shoots in looking for a takedown. Kelly tries to sprawl out of it but Eleazar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kelly manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Eleazar is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Eleazar is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Kelly has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kelly!

Well Kelly has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
