Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Be Nize can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Smith is looking to escape.
Be Nize might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Smith haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Be Nize takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Be Nize is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Smith to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Smith shrugs it off.

Smith prevents Be Nize from taking his back.

Be Nize jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Smith is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Smith and Be Nize has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Be Nize tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Be Nize wants to control for a moment but Smith uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Be Nize seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Smith has recovered full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Smith has control of Be Nize's left arm, preventing Be Nize from doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ra Rrz Be Nize showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Be Nize shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smith defends it nicely.
Be Nize doesn't manage to clinch there - Smith circles away.
Smith uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Be Nize.
Smith stuns Be Nize with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Smith lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Be Nize backs up against the cage.

Smith lands with an uppercut that bounces Be Nize off the cage and back into range.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Be Nize.

Smith drives through and clinches with Be Nize against the cage.
Smith is trying to push Be Nize away but Be Nize has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Be Nize successfully pulls guard.

Be Nize has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Smith can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Be Nize looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smith is one step ahead there.

Be Nize wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Smith is looking to stand up but Be Nize won't let him.

Be Nize is trying to hold Smith in close to prevent damage but Smith has managed to pass into half guard.
Be Nize has a hand on Smith's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Smith takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Smith wants to control the pace but Be Nize is squirming around nicely.
Be Nize tries to lock up and control but Smith gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Be Nize is looking to get to half guard.
Smith controlling the pace for now.
Be Nize bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Be Nize has gone for a leg lock! Smith slips out almost immediately though and dives into Be Nize's guard.

Ra Rrz Be Nize has got the better of the ground game so far.
Be Nize is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Be Nize has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Smith should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Be Nize has tightened it up now! Smith should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
