The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Chestnar. Those never looked like landing.
Gonawyn tries to counter with a clinch but Chestnar shakes him off and moves away.
Chestnar throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Gonawyn counters with a takedown into side control.
Gonawyn looks up at the clock and then as Chestnar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Gonawyn smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Gonawyn is trying to get an arm triangle but Chestnar is defending well.
Chestnar is looking for a sweep.
Gonawyn throws an elbow but Chestnar slips to the side and avoids it well.
Gonawyn sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Chestnar is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Gonawyn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
