Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Long Schlong (ranked 2189 p4p, 216 weight class) and Ivan Volkov (ranked 7576 p4p, 455 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Schlong.
Nice straight punches there by Schlong. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Schlong.
Schlong shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Schlong was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Volkov regains half guard.
Schlong trying to control the action but Volkov is working from the bottom.
Volkov is looking for a sweep. Schlong is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Schlong wants to free his trapped foot but Volkov is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Schlong wants to work for an arm triangle but Volkov is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Volkov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Schlong sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Volkov doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Schlong paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Volkov - great work!
