Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Malloy (ranked 3665 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rod Stallin (ranked 5089 p4p, 0 weight class). Rod Stallin will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Malloy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rod Stallin!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malloy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stallin but Stallin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Stallin wants to counter with a clinch but Malloy pushes him away.
Michael Malloy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malloy keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Stallin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Malloy swivels and escapes.
Malloy looks for a takedown but Stallin sprawls well.
Stallin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Stallin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Stallin is trying to control the action in half guard but Malloy is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Stallin follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

Stallin tries to clinch but Malloy moves out of range.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Malloy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stallin as he jumps to the side.
Stallin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Malloy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Malloy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Malloy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stallin avoids it really well and circles away.
Stallin tries for a takedown but Malloy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Stallin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Malloy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Stallin, into his guard.

Malloy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Malloy shoots in looking for a takedown but Stallin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Malloy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Malloy looks to throw the jab but Stallin is out of range.
Stallin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Malloy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stallin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Malloy somewhat.

Stallin drives through with a takedown into Malloy's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Stallin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Malloy ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Malloy no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Malloy is trying to control the position but Stallin postures up.
Stallin is fighting to break Malloy's control of his arms but Malloy is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

I would just about give that final round to Rod Stallin.
I think Stallin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
