The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hocking shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Yamabuki misses with a double jab

and Hocking counters by moving into the clinch.

Hocking jumps into guard, dragging Yamabuki to the mat.
Yamabuki is fighting to break Hocking's control of his arms but Hocking is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Yamabuki wants to get up but he can't break Hocking's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yamabuki wants to get back to his feet but Hocking is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
