Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rodrigo Escobar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nic Parsons!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parsons pushes Escobar up against the cage in a clinch.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Escobar.
Parsons blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Parsons successfully pulls guard.
Parsons trying to control the position.
Escobar is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Escobar wants to control from the top but Parsons keeps moving.
Parsons really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Escobar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Escobar is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Parsons defends it well.

Escobar uses his free foot to push down on Parsons's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Parsons.
Parsons tries to hold on but Escobar pushes him away.
Escobar can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Parsons is looking to escape.

Parsons tries to lock up and control but Escobar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parsons is trying desperately to improve position.

Escobar jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Parsons manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Parsons is trying to work for a sweep but Escobar has mounted him!
Escobar is stalling here but it's allowed Parsons to get half guard.
