These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tito Makani!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makani shoots in looking for a takedown but Riley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Makani's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Riley was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Makani dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Makani scores with a body shot.
Makani avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Makani throws out a counter right but Riley avoids it with no problem.
Makani misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
It looked like Riley was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Makani.
Makani shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Riley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Makani's half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Riley in particular looking to stall.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
A head kick from Makani lands but Riley takes it in his stride.

Makani lands a nice hook to Riley's body. Riley takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Oh Riley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Makani lands a leg kick that knocks Riley off balance momentarily.
Makani knocks out Riley with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Makani before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Makani picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tito Makani!
