PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Uros Radojicic (ranked 7641 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kron Anaklusmos (ranked 3420 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Anaklusmos's choice of entrance music: The Sopranos. Uros Radojicic had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kron Anaklusmos!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anaklusmos looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Radojicic tries to roll over but Anaklusmos keeps him under control.
Radojicic trying to control but Anaklusmos postures up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Anaklusmos shoots in looking for a takedown. Radojicic tries to sprawl out of it but Anaklusmos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Radojicic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Anaklusmos drives through with a takedown into Radojicic's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Radojicic drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Anaklusmos dives on top into guard.

Anaklusmos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Radojicic as he jumps to the side.
Radojicic shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Anaklusmos pinned against the cage. Anaklusmos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Radojicic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Radojicic shoots for a double leg takedown but Anaklusmos sprawls well. He's pushed Radojicic's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Anaklusmos uses his free foot to push down on Radojicic's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Radojicic.

Anaklusmos lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Kron Anaklusmos is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Kron Anaklusmos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Anaklusmos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
