Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Burl Morales!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daga Marono!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morales is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Marono.

It looks like Burl Morales has been cut.

Marono has Morales up against the cage in a clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Marono.

Marono's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Morales takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Marono rushes Morales and presses him up against the cage.
Marono tries to throw a body punch but Morales avoids it by throwing Marono back against the cage.
Morales jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marono walks away with a smile on his face. Morales gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Marono drives through and clinches with Morales against the cage.

Marono breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Marono has taken the fight to the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Morales is trying to pull guard but Marono turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Marono can't find room to land a body shot as Morales controls the action.
Morales tries to pull guard but Marono won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Burl Morales. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Marono breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Marono throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Morales moves into the clinch.

Morales pulls guard effortlessly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morales manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Marono cracks Morales with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Morales falls to his knees and Marono doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daga Marono!
A relieved looking Daga Marono thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
