The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Darius Henderson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones feints and as Wagner raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Wagner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Wagner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wagner is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jones tries to stand but can't do so whilst Wagner controls his leg.
Jones is working for a submission of some sort.

Jones blocks the strikes from Wagner.
Wagner tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control.

Wagner bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Wagner would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Jones is trying to keep Wagner in close.
Wagner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Wagner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.
Wagner tries to stand but Jones is controlling from the bottom.
Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wagner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wagner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jones has a closed guard, preventing Wagner from standing up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seeday Jones dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Wagner tries to improve position but can't.
Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wagner has escaped the position, nice work there.

Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

You can see the frustration on Wagner's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Wagner is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Wagner reaches up around Jones's neck trying to control. But Jones takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Wagner! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Wagner is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Jones celebrates the victory with the fans!
