Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bismack Kagonbo (ranked 582 p4p, 86 weight class) and Lennart Lennartsson (ranked 1432 p4p, 186 weight class). Kagonbo comes into the arena with Voodoo blaring out of the sound system. Lennartsson has chosen Runaway Baby - Bruno Mars as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kagonbo misses with a series of wild punches.

It looked like Kagonbo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Lennartsson counters with a three punch combo that has Kagonbo backing up. Kagonbo nods at Lennartsson to acknowledge the strikes.

Kagonbo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lennartsson.

Lennartsson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kagonbo misses with a looping left.
It seemed like Lennartsson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Lennartsson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kagonbo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lennartssons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Kagonbo lunges at Lennartsson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lennartsson's hand.

Kagonbo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Kagonbo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lennartsson sprawling to the canvas! Lennartsson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kagonbo finish him?!

Kagonbo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Lennartsson throws a body punch but Kagonbo moves out of range.
Lennartsson leaves his chin hanging out and Kagonbo seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Lennartsson crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
