PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jason Jordan (ranked 5115 p4p, 66 weight class) and Clint Thorpe (ranked 6597 p4p, 162 weight class). Jordan comes to the ring accompanied by Ape Sh^t y the Carters. Clint Thorpe is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jason Jordan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Clint Thorpe!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan looks to land a combination but Thorpe avoids it well.
A little jabbing left from Thorpe on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Thorpe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Jordan closes the distance and clinches.

Jordan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jordan gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Thorpe counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Thorpe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jordan throws out the jab.
Jordan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Jordan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thorpe looks to land a right hand but Jordan moved out of range.
Thorpe just misses with a punch to the body.

Jordan darts in and clinches Thorpe up against the ropes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jordan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Thorpe.
Jordan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Thorpe lands a left hand.
Thorpe trying to land knees to the body.
Thorpe lands on the inside with an uppercut.
A short uppercut from Thorpe.
Thorpe pushes Jordan back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Thorpe can't find room to land a body shot as Jordan controls the action.
Jordan working hard to break the clinch.
Thorpe scores with a shot to the side of Jordan's head.
Thorpe lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Jordan pushes off an throws an elbow but Thorpe leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.
Jordan is trying to break the clinch but Thorpe has him pressed against the ropes.
Jordan has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Thorpe lands a hook that snaps the head of Jordan backwards.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Thorpe lands a left hand.

Thorpe breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Jordan with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Jordan looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Jordan get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? Yes, he's struggled back up to his feet and seems OK to continue. The referee agrees so we're back to the action!

Jordan is rocked!
Jordan misses with a left hand

and Thorpe counters with a beautiful hook that drops Jordan to the mat! Will Jordan be able to recover his senses? The referee starts the count at 3 having sent Thorpe to a neutral corner. 4,5,6 and Jordan is up. He looks OK to continue.
Oh Jordan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A head kick by Jordan misses

and Thorpe counters with a nice uppercut that drops Jordan onto his backside! Jordan bounces straight back to his feet before we have a chance to even start the count. He'll get the standing 8 count anyway before we get back underway.
Thorpe is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jordan.
It looked like Jordan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Jordan seems to have got his legs back now.
Thorpe blocks a head kick by Jordan.
A little jabbing left from Thorpe on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Jordan instigates a clinch.
Thorpe scores with a shot to the side of Jordan's head.
Jordan is breathing heavily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jordan walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
