The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabrera misses with a takedown attempt - homayed sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cabrera shoots in for a double leg but homayed sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cabrera will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
ayman homayed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Remo Biro Cabrera.

homayed drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cabrera manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now homayed has Cabrera in his guard.

Cabrera is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Cabrera looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
homayed has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cabrera is working away from the top position though.
Cabrera seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but homayed does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cabrera takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

homayed shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
homayed throws a strike but Cabrera rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That was a close second round but I would say that ayman homayed will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Cabrera wants to clinch.
Cabrera stuffs the takedown.

homayed rushes Cabrera and presses him up against the cage.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Cabrera.

homayed jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Cabrera is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Cabrera and homayed has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to ayman homayed.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for homayed, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
