Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tan Wu (ranked 5261 p4p, 529 weight class) and Supple Vines (ranked 4896 p4p, 514 weight class). The key to victory for Tan Wu has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vines.
As Vines tries to get set, Wu tries to push him back and clinch up but Vines manages to avoid the attempt.
Wu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wu throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Wu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vines but Vines pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wu stuffs the takedown attempt from Vines. Vines gets slowly back to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Vines throws a nice looking combination but Wu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

An attempted straight right counter from Wu misses the target.

Wu scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Vines is looking to clinch but Wu is avoiding it.
Wu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vines's waist but Vines gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wu off to one side.
Vines tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wu manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Horrible takedown attempt by Wu or perhaps it was just good defense by Vines, which made it look bad.
Nice takedown defense from Wu. No joy for Vines on that attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Tan Wu will probably get the nod.

Vines changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wu looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Vines really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Vines throws a leg kick but Wu checks it.
Wu throws a counter high kick but Vines was just alert enough to avoid it.
Wu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vines remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Vines closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tan Wu.
