Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iain Tower (ranked 23 p4p, 4 weight class) and Big Murha (ranked 81 p4p, 12 weight class). Tower comes into the arena with Kanye - Power blaring out of the sound system. Big Murha acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Big Murha!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murha pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tower is out of range and Murha settles back down.
It looked like Tower was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Murha.
Murha throws a head kick but Tower moves out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Murha.
Murha throws a leg kick but Tower sees it coming and checks it nicely.
And Tower counters with a quick kick to the body but Murha blocks it.
Tower pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Murha fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tower manages to avoid it.
Tower appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Murha throws a leg kick that is checked
and Tower counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Murha thinking.
Murha misses with a leg kick.
Murha fakes the leg kick and cracks Tower in the body.
Murha buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tower slips under a jab from Murha.
Tower throws a quick counter kick to the body but Murha avoids it.
Murha takes a swing at Tower's ribcage but misses.
Murha misses with a hook. Tower ducked under it nicely.
Murha throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tower is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

A slapping leg kick lands for Murha.
Murha wants to slow Tower down by chopping away at his legs.
Murha connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Tower definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tower blocks a low kick nicely.
Tower appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Murha connects with a jab.
Murha throws an off balance right hand
and Tower counters with a left to the body.
Tower fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Murha looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Tower swings for the body but Murha moves out of range.
Murha throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tower counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Tower scores with a nice body kick.
Tower keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Murha.
Nice body punch from Tower.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tower works the jab nicely.

Tower throws a sloppy head kick and Murha moves out of range easily.
Murha takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Tower is looking to wear down Murha with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
No joy there for Tower, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tower jabs Murha to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Tower looks to score with a jab to the body but Murha is just out of range.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Tower. Murha shrugs it off though.
An inside leg kick lands from Tower.
A punch lands to the side of Murha 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Big Murha has been cut.
Murha looks to land a left hand but Tower moved out of range nicely.
Tower lands a nice shot to the body.
Tower tries to land a front kick but Murha steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Tower connects with a single shot there.

The fighters circling - Murha throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tower is looking for a counter combo.
Murha throws a low kick but it's checked well by Tower.
Tower throws a quick counter kick to the body but Murha avoids it.
Murha bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Tower tries to land a front kick but Murha steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Murha lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tower takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Tower darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Tower misses with a double jab.
Tower drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Murha slips a jab and a cross from Tower.
Murha connects with a looping right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tower has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Murha finds it's way round the side to connect with Tower's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Murha misses with a looping right.
Tower is looking to counter with a body kick.
Tower keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A jab from Tower does it's job there.
Tower defending well as Murha loads up on a big left hand.
A decent looking cross lands there for Murha.
Murha tries a head kick but it misses.
Murha has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Tower.
A low kick from Murha is predictable there
and Tower counters with a body kick.
Murha get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Murha stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Tower runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Iain Tower really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that IniTech Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
