Brophy comes into the arena with JME - The Very Best blaring out of the sound system. Adams Junior has chosen Looking for the Stone as his entrance music. Red Brophy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams Junior with a lazy takedown attempt
and Adams Junior takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Adams Junior misses with a hook. Brophy ducked under it nicely.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Adams Junior has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
JR Adams Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice jab there from Brophy.
Brophy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brophy misses the shot to the body.

Brophy throws a wild body kick that Adams Junior sees coming a mile off.
Brophy jabs Adams Junior to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Brophy tests Adams Junior's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Brophy fakes the leg kick and cracks Adams Junior in the body.

Adams Junior drops his hands momentarily and Brophy takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Adams Junior throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Brophy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Brophy lands a big right hand that sends Adams Junior crashing to the mat! Brophy stays standing though and waves Adams Junior back to his feet!

Adams Junior is rocked!
Adams Junior is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Brophy doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Adams Junior crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Adams Junior's bad books for that mishap!
