Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Finn Carter (ranked 5416 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burt Brown (ranked 5601 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Carter might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lust. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it.
Carter misses with a takedown attempt - Brown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Carter shoots in for a double leg but Brown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Brown avoids the head kick by Carter.
Brown throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Finn Carter has been cut.
Brown avoids a kick to the body.
Brown fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Carter to the ground. Brown is now in Carter's guard.
Carter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Carter tries to get out of the position.
Carter being controlled here, momentarily.
Brown wants to get up but he can't break Carter's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Brown controlling from the top position.
Carter is trying to control the position but Brown postures up.
Brown is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Brown stopping the sweep attempt from Carter.
Brown would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Carter fails with a takedown attempt.
Brown shapes to counter with a head kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Finn Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carter lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Brown gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Brown breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Carter shoots for a takedown but Brown saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Brown rushes Carter and presses him up against the cage.
Brown turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Carter is looking to get back to his feet here but Brown is keeping cool and he's managed to take Carter's back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carter can't escape the position.
Brown just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brown has Carter flattened out and is raining down punches.
Carter is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Brown controlling the position well here. Carter rolled but Brown kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Carter trying to get back to his feet but Brown is in full control for now.

Brown keeps control of the position as Carter tries to break free.
Brown is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Carter won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Brown off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Burt Brown!
Finn Carter was interviewed post fight and said 'Call of duty plays in the background "Mission failed...Will get em next time"'.
