Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dub Kong!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trodjan tries to keep at a distance but Kong has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kong working hard to break the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Kong as the two fighters clinch.
Trodjan has Kong pushed against the cage.

Kong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Trodjan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kong connects with a crisp jab.
Trodjan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Trodjan drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Trodjan misses with a looping right.
Trodjan takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kong wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Kong rushes Trodjan and presses him up against the cage.
Kong throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Kong is trying to push Trodjan away but Trodjan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kong tries to break free but Trodjan pushes him back against the cage.
Trodjan is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Kong manages to break the clinch.
Kong lands with a cross.
Kong throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Trodjan.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Trodjan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Trodjan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kong pulls his leg out and moves away.

Kong moves into range and clinches up with Trodjan.
Kong on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kong is looking to break free of the clinch but Trodjan has double underhooks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kong wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Trodjan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kong's efforts to push away.

Kong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kong lands with a cross.
Dub Kong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kong misses with a combination
and Trodjan counters with a three punch combo that has Kong backing up. Kong nods at Trodjan to acknowledge the strikes.
Sloppy strikes from Kong. Those never looked like landing.
Dub Kong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kong feints with a jab and clips Trodjan right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Trodjan is sent crashing into the canvas and Kong leaps in for the kill! Trodjan tries to get to his feet but Kong is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Trodjan is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dub Kong!
