The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Bruce Bernier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bernier moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bernier tries to bum rush Taylor with a series of wild strikes but Taylor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Taylor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bernier misses with a hook. Taylor ducked under it nicely.

Bernier pushes Taylor against the cage. Bernier is working some dirty boxing. Bernier pushes off with a quick right hook! Taylor goes down! Taylor tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Bernier moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
