Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marko Makkonen!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramesha looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Ramesha might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Makkonen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ramesha stopping the sweep attempt from Makkonen.
Ramesha scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Ramesha postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Ramesha is working Makkonen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Makkonen wants to control but Ramesha passes easily into half guard.
Ramesha has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Makkonen tries to get to full guard but Ramesha has control of the leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ramesha lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Ramesha lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Makkonen quite badly. Makkonen pulls Ramesha in close trying to recover. Ramesha postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Makkonen on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Makkonen doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
