PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Moese Daldo Jr (ranked 6555 p4p, 546 weight class) and AJ Hinch (ranked 5839 p4p, 510 weight class). Hinch has chosen Cult of personality-Living Colour as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Moese Daldo Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, AJ Hinch!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hinch throws a body shot but no joy.
Daldo Jr feinted with a counter takedown.
AJ Hinch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Daldo Jr looks for a takedown but Hinch sprawls well.
Hinch ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Daldo Jr's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hinch connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Daldo Jr scrambles back to his feet.
Hinch lands with a slapping head kick.
Hinch swinging wildly here.
Daldo Jr tries to clinch but Hinch moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Daldo Jr looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hinch gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Daldo Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hinch swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hinch looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Daldo Jr passes into side control.
Hinch is looking to regain half guard here but Daldo Jr keeps moving and retains side control.
Daldo Jr trying to control the position but Hinch is working away.
Hinch tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Daldo Jr wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hinch throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Daldo Jr tries to move into full mount but can't pass Hinch's legs.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hinch is looking to regain half guard here but Daldo Jr keeps moving and retains side control.
Hinch tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Daldo Jr presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Hinch can't escape the position.
Daldo Jr looking to control but Hinch is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daldo Jr seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Hinch is holding on tight.
Hinch is looking to improve his position but Daldo Jr isn't that keen on the idea.
Hinch keeps trying to improve his position.
Daldo Jr can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hinch is looking to escape.

Hinch keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hinch is just holding on here. Daldo Jr manages to take his back.
Hinch breaks Daldo Jr's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Hinch throws a strike but Daldo Jr rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.


Hinch looking for a guillotine here but Daldo Jr defends easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hinch controls Daldo Jr momentarily but Daldo Jr frees himself.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hinch wants to sweep here but Daldo Jr controlling him for the moment.

Hinch throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Hinch looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hinch working a defensive guard here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Hinch is looking for a triangle here but Daldo Jr uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Moese Daldo Jr will probably get the nod.

Hinch works over Daldo Jr's head and body with a nice combination.
Hinch throws a jab when Daldo Jr was well out of range.
Daldo Jr uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hinch.

Hinch swings for the body but Daldo Jr moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hinch scores with a head kick.
Daldo Jr moves in looking to clinch but Hinch pushes him off.

Daldo Jr moves into the clinch successfully.

Hinch's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hinch fails to land with a series of punches.

Hinch throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


It looks like Moese Daldo Jr has been cut.
Daldo Jr closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hinch circles away.
Hinch throws a counter combo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Moese Daldo Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hinch shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Daldo Jr eats them both and turns towards Hinch to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


Daldo Jr is rocked!
Hinch throws a powerful right kick. Daldo Jr tried to block low but the kick was high! Daldo Jr was taken right off of his feet! Hinch jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). AJ Hinch!
AJ Hinch took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I don't need this shit, i come from a wealthy family and i have a Stanford degree, I do it becuase i love crushing peoples face in with my brutality.'.
