The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riddle moves into the clinch.
Ribery is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Riddle has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ribery uses from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Riddle has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ribery is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Riddle.
Riddle is pushing Ribery's head away, looking to escape. Ribery manages to hold on to the position though.

Ribery tries for a kimura but Riddle is defending well.
Riddle is letting Ribery control him for a moment.
Riddle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Riddle wants to get back to his feet but Ribery is dominant here and he's now got Riddle's back!
Riddle tries to escape but Ribery has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Ribery has managed to slip his arm under Riddle's chin. This could be all over... yep, Riddle is tapping out! Submission win for Ribery.
