Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Levi Duffy (ranked 24348 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Larsen (ranked 3436 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim Larsen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Levi Duffy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kim Larsen!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duffy misses with a takedown attempt - Larsen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Larsen jabs at Duffy's body.
Larsen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Duffy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Larsen drives through with a takedown into Duffy's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Larsen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Duffy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Larsen, into his guard.

Duffy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Larsen to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Larsen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Duffy is keeping the position for now.
Larsen wants to control from the top but Duffy keeps moving.

Larsen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Duffy throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Duffy is pulling down on Larsen's head to control his posture.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Larsen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Duffy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Larsen is looking to clinch but Duffy is avoiding it.
Duffy seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Duffy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Duffy is trying to keep Larsen in close.
Duffy trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Duffy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Larsen manages to get himself to full guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Levi Duffy will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Larsen dives in and scores a takedown into Duffy's guard.
Duffy really is a fat lump.
Duffy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Duffy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Larsen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Larsen.
Larsen tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Larsen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Larsen is breathing heavily.
Duffy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Duffy stands up from Larsen's guard - Duffy perhaps looking for a knockout.

Larsen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Duffy did well to prevent Larsen getting side control.

Duffy makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Larsen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Duffy has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Larsen is on him like a limpet, forcing Duffy back against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Duffy scores with a knee to the head.

Larsen is fighting off a takedown attempt but Duffy is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Larsen to the mat. Larsen regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Duffy stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Duffy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Larsen swivels and escapes.

Larsen gets a takedown into half guard.

Duffy pushes Larsen off and gets back to his feet.
Duffy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Larsen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Duffy defends it well.

Larsen is working for a submission of some sort.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Larsen throws an elbow that misses. Duffy uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Larsen's guard. Nice move by Duffy!


Duffy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Larsen, up you get!

Larsen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Duffy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Duffy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Larsen remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Larsen swings around for an armbar but Duffy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Larsen's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Levi Duffy dominated that second round.
That's time! Duffy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Larsen on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Larsen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Larsen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Duffy is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Larsen asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Duffy parries the strikes from Larsen easily there. Larsen is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Duffy to escape.

Duffy is not content to let Larsen control the position.
Larsen wants to control for a moment but Duffy uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Larsen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Larsen has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Duffy works to full guard.

Duffy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Larsen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Larsen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Larsen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Duffy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Duffy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Larsen stuffs the takedown.
Larsen throws a one two combo.
Duffy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Larsen is fending him off so far but Duffy persists. Nope, Larsen circles away and we're back to standing.
A slapping body kick lands there for Larsen.

Larsen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Duffy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

I would just about give that final round to Kim Larsen.
I think Duffy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
