Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pat Hall (ranked 8181 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Vanatta (ranked 5015 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanatta lands a front kick.
Vanatta is looking to slow Hall down with leg kicks.

A quick step to the side and Hall tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Hall gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Vanatta is trying to push Hall away but Hall has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Hall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Vanatta tries to close the distance and clinch but Hall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
It looked like Hall wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
