Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chase Vincent (ranked 8024 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shahadath Karim (ranked 4594 p4p, 0 weight class). Shahadath Karim has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Chase Vincent's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Karim gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Vincent is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Karim can't fight it off and eventually Vincent manages to take the fight to the floor. Karim looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Karim is working an open guard so Vincent takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Karim tries to clinch up but Vincent circles away and keeps his distance.

Vincent throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shahadath Karim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vincent swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Karim counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Chase Vincent has been cut.

Karim moves into range and clinches up with Vincent.
Vincent jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Karim walks away with a smile on his face. Vincent gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Vincent tries to keep at a distance but Karim has taken the fight into the clinch.

Vincent really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Karim is in close to Vincent's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Karim drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Karim jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Karim wants to pass the guard but Vincent is keeping the position.
Vincent will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Vincent has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Karim has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Karim manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Vincent gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Vincent closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Karim to the mat! Karim manages to get full guard.

Vincent gets to his feet. Karim looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Vincent fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Karim has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Karim misses with a hook. Vincent ducked under it nicely.
Vincent blocks a jab.

Karim closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Karim has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Karim shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vincent napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Vincent bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Karim tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vincent swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Karim darts in looking for a takedown but Vincent gets double underhooks and turns Karim into the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Chase Vincent will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

As Karim tries to get set, Vincent tries to push him back and clinch up but Karim manages to avoid the attempt.

Vincent goes for a double leg but Karim avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Karim continues to drive forward.

It looks like Vincent is going to stand back up.
Karim is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Vincent is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Vincent, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
