The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bower misses with a few strikes there.
Bower slips a straight right by Putzillini.
A big right from Putzillini misses.
Dave Bower seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Putzillini works the jab nicely.
Bower throws a hook but Putzillini avoids it easily.
Putzillini lands a nice hook to Bower's body. Bower takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Putzillini fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bower on the side of the head.

Putzillini bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Bower! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Putzillini slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bower wants to sweep but no luck.
Putzillini is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Bower has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Putzillini can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bower with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Putzillini to score with a decent uppercut.
Bower tries to close the distance and clinch but Putzillini swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Putzillini throws a monster overhand right that drops Bower! Putzillini follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
